Soloist

This painting shows a part of my past. When I was young I started with classical ballet. I loved it!! It was a place where I could express myself in full. First I worked hard to add more technique into every movement. If that part was done, I added more and more of myself into every movement. The mind was free and I could express myself without words. Performing in the Theatre every other year were highlights. Earning the status as a soloist was one of the greatest experiences in my life. The hard work, working as a team and the joy ... it's still in my heart. It still is part of my foundation for life. And ... I still love dancing!
