No pressure, no diamonds

Participant NZAFA SOLO 42, Wellington

Feeling excited to be one of the participants of the SOLO 42 Exhibition at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts in Wellington.
An expression I like: No pressure, no diamonds. That's what's happening now. Painted 2 big paintings in 2 weeks!

New works have been created ... they might shown at the exhibition! ;-) Very pure in colors, very connected with nature in a different way. For now I'm taking it all in and I'm enjoying preparing for this journey. Being in my girls cave for many hours doesn't hurt at all.

Here's the list of all participating artists in SOLO 42 in May 2017 in no particular order :
  • Tatyana Kulida
  • Marie and Ola Hoglund
  • Clair Clark
  • Bee Doughty-Pratt
  • Nicola Manthel
  • John Mc Donnell
  • Whetu van den Oever
  • Tania Dally
  • John Mahalski
  • Michelle Carlton
Exciting! Energizing! Inspiring!
I will post more details about this exhibition as soon as I have received them.

MURAL PROGRESS

It was very warm today! Enthusiastic passengers, an ice block, water and 1 spot in the shade with some wind kept us going. Out lining is ready for this Saturday when the community can come along to add the colors.
